MSI Wind U230 is one example of a gadget that you will have to think hard to categorize it. Is it a notebook or just a netbook? You have your very own argument then on how should we define netbooks. MSI itself is calling the MSI Wind U230 as a replacement for the MSI Wind U210 netbook series. So is this really a netbook?

Now lets see the screen. Wind U230 has 12.1 inch screen. Usually that size doesn’t belong to netbook. Then, it has 2 GB of RAM. How much is your recent netbook RAM? What else? It uses dual-core processor inside. Not a dual-core Atom, but an AMD chip coupled with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card.

The MSI Wind U230 actually comes in two models: the Wind U230-033 with an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 CPU and a 250GB hard drive; the Wind U230-040 with an AMD Athlon X2 L335 CPU and a 320GB hard drive. Otherwise, the two models are identical from their HD displays (16:9, 1366 x 768 WXGA), b/g/n wi-fi, 1.3MP webcam and 6-cell batteries. And, of course, HDMI out amongst the usual ports.

The only problem that is seemingly to arise is the battery. Both models can only last for 4 hours computing. You can not be far away from outlet then.

HP ENVY: Minimalist, Artistic, and Superior in Technology

Here we have HP Envy. It comes proudly with the astonishing style. It is very artistic. Yet, it is very powerful. You can compared HP Envy with Lamborghini or Ferrari. They are designed to have the best engine and superior in artistic design.

In the computer industry, many computer models appear to follow this aspect. Apple Computer with the iMac or MacBook Pro is one example. Acer with its Ferrari series that has a really seductive design is another example.

Wow, I do want to buy it very soon.

The minimalist design with a carved monitor lid, the cavities collected in bringing unity USB, HDMI, and LAN, the wide keyboard, a futuristic wide touchpad, HP Envy 15 value is shown without the presence of various stickers, like what you can see on other notebooks. From Intel Inside sticker, specifications sticker, and other stickers just to show that they are unsure about their self.

Canon PowerShot S90, A Pocket Camera With RAW Format Ability

Confused! That is the most probable feeling that will come on your first try of the slim Canon PowerShot S90. In fact, that is the uniqueness of Canon PowerShot S90. The resolution is only 10 megapixels, but you’d be shocked with the wide angle lens with fast f2. The focal length (optical zoom) can be arranged from the focus ring, with a choice of 28, 35, 50, 85, and 105 mm. Unfortunately, the NB-6L battery with 1000mAh capacity could only last for 150-192 shots. But don’t worry, these batteries can be recharged in about 2 hours. The charger is available.
Conclusion
If you crave for a serious full-featured digital camera, but lightweight portable, the Canon PowerShot S90 is really a good choice. With the HDMI output, support RAW, and good shot quality. However, if you have no problem with the price and dimensions, the Canon G11 is a better choice.

Lenovo IdeaCentre C300: A Beautiful Classic Style All In One PC

  
Lenovo IdeaCentre C300 comes with a beautiful design and complete facilities. Not long ago, Lenovo has just released Lenovo IdeaCentre A600 as an ideal representation of an AiO PC . Now, the vendor re-release of its newest IdeaCentre family, the C300. As we can trace from its name, this C300 is set as a downgraded version of the A600. However, the design aspect remains a mainstay of Lenovo. This time they give an appearance attraction of the PC with classical motifs frame.

Immediately, we can see that the positioning of Lenovo IdeaCentre C300 is as a “cheap” version of the Lenovo A600, when we looked in the hardware specifications. To suppress the price, Lenovo uses Intel's Atom processor. But instead of using N270 or N280 that are actually intended for the netbook, C300 carrying a nettop targeted processor, the Intel N330. That’s the reason why C300 has better performance compared to other AiO PC in this level. Especially if you just use it for standard computing activities.

But when the IdeaCentre C300 is tested to play HD video files, the result is not as smooth as the way we hope. In some sections, the picture somewhat broken. It does not matter if the played video is a standard multimedia files such as AVI, WMV, and MP4.

Intrigued with its 3D performance, then it was tested to play Doom 3. The result? It turned out pretty good. Much more smoother than when playing HD video. Of course you cannot compared it to Asus G51J. This real 3D Gaming notebook is not yet comparable.

Lenovo IdeaCentre C300 offers complete connectivity options. There are 6 USB ports, 1 port PS / 2 (for mouse), FireWire port, LAN, memory card reader 6-in-1, and also Wi-Fi facilities. Lenovo ThinkPad X100e: Not a Netbook. It Is Truly a Notebook

Together with the ThinkPad Edge, Lenovo has previewed other new notebook. The Lenovo ThinkPad X100e. Something that can grab attention? The dimensions! It is typically smaller than the ThinkPad X series. The screen is 11.6", slightly smaller than the X200’s 12" display. This is an ultra portable series notebook, not even a netbook.

Although the ThinkPad X100e only equipped with 11.6” display, but the 1366x768 display resolution is quite satisfying. The memory can be upgraded up to 4GB. The hard drive is also upgradeable to 320BG and 500GB. The standard Lenovo ThinkPad X100e is completed with 2GB RAM, and 250GB hard drive.

You’ll find ThinkPad X100e in black, red, and white. It uses 6-cell battery that is claimed to stand for about 5 hours of computing. It comes with Windows 7 pre-installed. If you are looking for Intel Inside logo, then you’ll be sorry, for the X100e uses Neo AMD Athlon processor.
